Visit Us carries one of the clearest cries in Terry MacAlmon's early live recordings. It came from worshipers who were hungry for more than routine and unwilling to settle for "church as usual." The prayer at the heart of the album is direct: Lord, visit Your people again. Let Your presence become real, fresh and unmistakable among Your Bride.

That longing shapes the entire recording. Prelude opens the door quietly, followed by Prepare Ye the Way and Spirit of the Lord. By the time the title song Visit Us begins, the direction is clear. This is not simply worship that looks upward in adoration; it is also worship that cries out for God to move among His people. Captivate My Heart brings that larger prayer into the life of the individual worshiper, while I Hear Him, There Is One and Fairest Lord Jesus continue to focus the heart on Christ.

The final two songs deepen the sense of longing. How Long gives words to the ache for a greater visitation of God, and Come Holy Spirit closes the album not with a performance climax, but with invitation and expectation.

The subtitle, Calling Down the Father's Glory, captures the heart of the project. Terry's ministry during these years was centered on creating room for God's presence rather than simply presenting Christian music. Visit Us became one of the clearest expressions of that desire. It is an album for people who believe worship can become a meeting place with God - and who are willing to pray, with honesty and hunger, for Him to come in a fresh way.
