A Deeper Place

The Refreshing, Vol. 2 - Symphony of Love continues the devotional direction of the first volume and develops it with a rich blend of piano, orchestra, vocals, older songs, new compositions and instrumental moments. Once again the album was made for personal time with the Lord - music to accompany prayer, stillness and worship away from the noise of a large gathering.

How Great You Are opens with adoration before Spend Some Time gives the listener a simple invitation: slow down and make room for God. I Came to Worship You returns from Terry's earlier live repertoire, but in this studio setting the song feels more private and reflective. A Deeper Place then expresses the desire to move beyond the surface into deeper fellowship with the Lord.

The title track Symphony of Love becomes the musical center of the album. It is followed by He Restores My Soul and In My Father's Arms, two songs that place restoration and security in the presence and love of God. Sweet Sound, Faithful and Micah 6:8 continue the journey through worship, trust and a life that responds to God's heart.

The album closes with a full instrumental reprise of Symphony of Love. The words fall away and the melody is allowed to carry the final moments. It is a fitting ending for a project built around intimacy. Not every encounter with God needs more words. Sometimes worship continues most deeply in stillness.

Volume 2 remains true to the purpose of The Refreshing series: create music that serves the listener's own relationship with God. It does not ask to be watched like a concert. It invites people to make room, listen, pray and rest in His presence.
