NightSounds II: In The Quiet

NightSounds II: In the Quiet continues the soaking-worship journey begun with Liquid Love, but this second volume is shaped around an even clearer invitation: be still. Inspired by Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God" - the album offers more than ninety-seven minutes of instrumental music for prayer, reflection and rest in God's presence.

Instead of a long list of separate songs, the project is built around three extended medleys. Familiar melodies appear gently and flow into one another: I Sing Praises, Glory to the Lamb, Holy Are You Lord, Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus and I Came to Worship You are joined by hymns and worship songs such as Softly and Tenderly, Draw Me Nearer, Through It All, Fairest Lord Jesus and Amazing Grace.

That structure makes the album feel less like a collection and more like one long time of worship. A melody may awaken a memory, lead into prayer and then quietly give way to another song. Terry's piano remains at the center, but it never demands the listener's attention. The music is designed to create space rather than fill every space.

In the Quiet brings together many songs that have traveled with Terry through decades of ministry and places them in their most intimate setting. Songs once heard with large congregations are now allowed to breathe through instrumental worship. The result is both familiar and fresh.

This album is made for the moments when words become unnecessary - early mornings, late nights, personal prayer or any time the heart needs to slow down. Its message is found in the title itself: there is a place of knowing God that is discovered not in more noise, but in the quiet.
