Subscription Policy

How recurring charitable contributions to New Glory International work, including authorization, amount and frequency, cancelling or changing a gift, failed payments, Glory Partners and tax deductibility.

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

This Subscription and Recurring Contributions Policy governs recurring charitable contributions made to New Glory International through terrymacalmon.com, newglory.org, or another payment channel operated by or on behalf of New Glory International that refers to this Policy.

New Glory International (“New Glory,” “NGI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

Although our ecommerce or payment systems may use terms such as “subscription,” “subscription payment,” or “recurring payment,” a recurring contribution to New Glory is primarily a voluntary charitable contribution arrangement and is not, merely because it recurs, a commercial subscription for goods or services.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this Policy limits any payment, banking, consumer, privacy, or other legal right that applicable law does not permit New Glory to waive.

1. Recurring Contributions

A recurring contribution allows a donor to authorize New Glory or its authorized payment processor to collect a specified charitable contribution automatically at regular intervals.

Depending on the options made available when enrolling, recurring contributions may be scheduled:

  • monthly;
  • annually; or
  • at another clearly disclosed interval.

The contribution amount, frequency, and payment method will be disclosed before authorization.

A recurring contribution will not begin unless the donor affirmatively authorizes the recurring payment arrangement.

2. Authorization

By establishing a recurring contribution, you authorize New Glory and its authorized payment processor to charge or debit the payment method you provide for:

  1. the contribution amount you select;
  2. at the frequency disclosed and accepted when you enroll; and
  3. until you cancel or otherwise terminate that authorization.

Authorization may be provided electronically, including through an online form, checkout, donor portal, electronic signature, or other legally valid authentication method.

Where applicable law requires a written or similarly authenticated authorization for recurring electronic fund transfers, New Glory will maintain or cause its payment provider to maintain the applicable authorization.

You will receive or have access to a confirmation or record of the recurring contribution arrangement, including the material terms of the authorization.

3. Amount and Frequency

New Glory will not knowingly increase the amount or frequency of your recurring contribution without your affirmative authorization.

For example, if you authorize a recurring monthly contribution of $50, New Glory will not change that arrangement to $60 per month or $50 per week merely by updating this Policy.

If you voluntarily request a different amount or frequency, the updated authorization will apply prospectively.

If applicable law requires advance notice of a change to a recurring electronic payment, New Glory will provide the legally required notice.

4. Duration

Unless a specific end date or number of contributions is expressly selected or disclosed when the recurring contribution is established, the authorization continues until cancelled.

There is no minimum commitment period for an ordinary recurring charitable contribution to New Glory.

A donor may cancel a recurring contribution at any time.

There is no cancellation fee.

5. Cancelling a Recurring Contribution

You may cancel your recurring contribution at any time by using any cancellation method made available through your donor or customer account, or by contacting New Glory:

Email: info@terrymacalmon.com

Phone: 214-494-2265

New Glory will not require you to provide a reason for cancelling.

We will process cancellation requests as promptly as reasonably possible.

Once cancellation becomes effective, New Glory will not intentionally initiate additional recurring contributions under the cancelled authorization.

If a contribution has already been submitted to the payment network or financial institution for processing before the cancellation can reasonably be implemented, that contribution may still be processed. Cancellation will then apply to subsequent scheduled contributions.

Where appropriate, a donor may contact New Glory regarding a contribution processed during the cancellation period.

Nothing in this Policy limits any independent right you may have under applicable law to revoke authorization or issue a stop-payment instruction through your bank or financial institution.

6. Revocation of Payment Authorization

Cancellation of a recurring contribution also constitutes revocation of New Glory's authority to initiate future payments under that recurring contribution arrangement once the revocation becomes effective.

New Glory will not knowingly continue initiating recurring payments after receiving and implementing a valid revocation of authorization.

Where recurring electronic debits are subject to the U.S. Electronic Fund Transfer Act or Regulation E, donors may also have rights to stop future preauthorized transfers through their financial institution.

7. Confirmation of Cancellation

Where technically available, New Glory or its payment provider will provide confirmation that the recurring contribution has been cancelled.

We recommend retaining that confirmation for your records.

If you believe a recurring charge was processed after cancellation should have taken effect, contact us promptly at info@terrymacalmon.com so that we can investigate.

8. Changing Your Contribution

You may request to:

  • increase your contribution;
  • decrease your contribution;
  • change the frequency;
  • update the payment method; or
  • otherwise modify your recurring contribution.

Depending on the payment platform, a modification may require cancellation of the existing authorization and creation of a new authorization.

No material modification will be made in a manner that results in a higher or more frequent recurring contribution without your affirmative authorization.

9. Payment Methods

Recurring contributions may be processed using payment methods made available by New Glory or its payment providers, which may include:

  • credit cards;
  • debit cards;
  • bank-account payments;
  • digital wallets; or
  • other supported electronic payment methods.

Availability depends on the donor's location, payment provider, currency, financial institution, and applicable law.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by New Glory.

Please see our Privacy Policy for additional information concerning payment and personal information.

10. Payment Method Updates

Banks, card networks, and payment processors may operate account-updater or credential-update services that provide updated payment information when, for example, a payment card expires or is replaced.

Where supported and legally permitted, an updated payment credential may be used to continue a recurring contribution that you have not cancelled.

Use of an updated payment credential does not revive an authorization that you have already cancelled or revoked.

You may cancel the recurring contribution at any time regardless of whether payment information has been automatically updated.

11. Failed Payments

If a scheduled recurring contribution cannot be processed because of:

  • insufficient funds;
  • an expired payment method;
  • a declined transaction;
  • incorrect payment information;
  • a technical failure; or
  • another payment-processing issue,

New Glory or its payment provider may notify you.

The payment provider may make a reasonable additional attempt to process the authorized contribution where permitted by applicable law and payment-network rules.

New Glory will not charge a separate New Glory penalty or late fee merely because a charitable contribution could not be processed.

We will not knowingly retry a payment after the underlying recurring authorization has been cancelled or revoked.

Repeated payment failures may result in automatic suspension or cancellation of the recurring contribution arrangement.

12. No Debt Created

A recurring charitable contribution is voluntary.

Failure to complete a future charitable contribution does not ordinarily create a debt owed to New Glory.

If a recurring payment fails, New Glory will not treat the uncollected charitable contribution as an amount legally owed by the donor merely because an earlier recurring authorization existed.

13. Recurring Contributions and Glory Partners

Certain recurring donors may be recognized as Glory Partners or may participate in another New Glory supporter program.

Glory Partner participation is based on an ongoing recurring-support relationship and is not intended to convert a charitable contribution into a commercial purchase or investment.

New Glory may offer Glory Partners or other recurring supporters benefits, recognition, communications, early access, preferred access, event-related privileges, ministry resources, or other supporter benefits.

The nature and availability of those benefits may change prospectively.

Ending a recurring contribution may end eligibility for future benefits associated with an active recurring-giving program.

Nothing in a Glory Partner arrangement gives a donor:

  • an ownership interest in New Glory;
  • voting rights in New Glory;
  • a financial return;
  • a claim to New Glory's assets; or
  • a right to direct New Glory's management or charitable operations.

14. Tax Deductibility

New Glory International is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

Recurring contributions may be deductible for U.S. federal income-tax purposes to the extent permitted by applicable law.

New Glory does not guarantee that the full amount of every contribution is deductible.

If a donor receives goods, services, benefits, or privileges in connection with a contribution, the value of those benefits may affect the amount that may be treated as a charitable deduction.

Where required by U.S. federal tax law, New Glory will provide appropriate donor acknowledgments or disclosures concerning goods or services provided in connection with a contribution.

Donors are responsible for determining the tax treatment applicable to their individual circumstances and should consult their own tax or professional adviser where appropriate.

Tax deductibility outside the United States depends on the law of the donor's jurisdiction and is not guaranteed by New Glory's U.S. tax-exempt status.

15. Contribution Acknowledgments

New Glory may provide:

  • individual contribution confirmations;
  • periodic giving statements;
  • year-end contribution statements; or
  • other donor acknowledgments.

For U.S. federal tax purposes, special substantiation requirements apply to certain contributions, including individual contributions of $250 or more.

Where New Glory provides goods or services in exchange for a payment and the payment constitutes a quid pro quo contribution, additional disclosure rules may apply.

Donors should retain appropriate records of their contributions.

16. Refunds of Recurring Contributions

Cancelling a recurring contribution stops future contributions but does not automatically refund contributions that were properly processed before cancellation became effective.

Completed charitable contributions are generally intended to be irrevocable.

New Glory may nevertheless review a request to reverse or refund a recurring contribution where appropriate, including when:

  • the contribution was duplicated;
  • an incorrect amount was processed because of an error;
  • a contribution was processed after an effective cancellation because of an error attributable to New Glory or its payment provider;
  • the transaction was unauthorized;
  • a technical or processing error occurred;
  • New Glory cannot lawfully accept the contribution; or
  • applicable law requires a refund.

Requests are handled in accordance with New Glory's Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.

17. Unauthorized Recurring Charges

If you believe a recurring contribution was initiated without your authorization, or continued after a valid authorization had been cancelled, please contact New Glory promptly:

Email: info@terrymacalmon.com

Phone: 214-494-2265

We may request reasonable information necessary to identify and investigate the transaction.

Nothing in this Policy prevents you from exercising legally available rights through your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.

18. No Hidden Fees

New Glory does not charge a separate enrollment fee, cancellation fee, termination fee, or penalty solely for beginning or ending an ordinary recurring charitable contribution.

The amount authorized as a charitable contribution will be clearly disclosed when the recurring arrangement is created.

A bank, payment provider, card issuer, currency-conversion provider, or other financial institution may separately impose charges under its own agreement with you. New Glory does not control charges independently imposed by such third parties.

19. Currency and International Donations

Recurring contributions may be processed in the currency displayed when the recurring contribution is established.

For donors outside the United States, a bank or payment provider may perform currency conversion or impose foreign transaction charges.

Exchange rates and financial-institution charges are controlled by the relevant financial provider and may vary.

International donors may also be required by their financial institution or payment provider to complete additional authentication before a recurring arrangement can be established or modified.

20. Privacy

Personal information associated with recurring giving is processed in accordance with New Glory's Privacy Policy.

New Glory does not sell or rent donor lists or donor contact information to unrelated organizations for their own fundraising or marketing purposes.

Payment credentials may be processed and stored securely by authorized payment providers rather than directly by New Glory.

21. Communications About Your Recurring Contribution

New Glory or its payment provider may send administrative communications concerning your recurring contribution, including:

  • confirmation of enrollment;
  • payment confirmations;
  • failed-payment notices;
  • payment-method expiration notices;
  • changes requested by you;
  • cancellation confirmations;
  • donor statements; and
  • legally required notices.

These are transactional or administrative communications and may continue even if you have opted out of promotional email marketing when the communication is reasonably necessary to administer the recurring contribution.

22. Changes to Recurring Giving Terms

New Glory may revise this Policy prospectively.

A change to this Policy does not authorize New Glory to increase the amount or frequency of an existing recurring contribution without the donor's affirmative authorization.

If a material change affects an existing recurring contribution arrangement, New Glory will provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent where required by applicable law.

Changes to general Glory Partner benefits may be made prospectively, but New Glory will not use a benefits change as a basis to increase a donor's recurring charge without authorization.

23. Changes in Applicable Law

Recurring-payment laws and payment-network requirements may change over time.

New Glory may modify its payment procedures where reasonably necessary to comply with:

  • federal law;
  • state law;
  • payment-network rules;
  • banking requirements;
  • international payment requirements; or
  • other applicable law.

Such compliance changes do not authorize an increase in a donor's recurring contribution amount without affirmative authorization.

24. Relationship to Commercial Subscription Laws

New Glory's recurring-giving program is designed as a charitable contribution program rather than a commercial subscription for the recurring sale of goods or services.

Certain automatic-renewal, negative-option, subscription, or consumer-payment laws may therefore apply differently to charitable contributions than to commercial subscriptions.

Nevertheless, New Glory's recurring-giving practices are designed around the principles of:

  • affirmative enrollment;
  • clear disclosure of the amount and frequency;
  • no pre-checked or involuntary enrollment;
  • clear authorization of recurring payment;
  • straightforward cancellation;
  • no cancellation fee; and
  • no continued charging after an effective cancellation.

If applicable law provides greater protection in a particular jurisdiction, New Glory will apply those mandatory protections.

25. Governing Terms

This Policy should be read together with:

  • the Terms of Service;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Return and Refund Policy; and
  • any specific recurring-giving disclosures presented when the donor enrolls.

If a specific recurring-payment authorization contains terms that are more specific than this general Policy, the specific authorization controls with respect to the amount, frequency, payment method, and other transaction-specific information.

Nothing in another policy overrides a donor's legally protected right to revoke a recurring electronic payment authorization.
