Privacy Policy

How New Glory International collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains personal information across terrymacalmon.com, newglory.org and related services, including your privacy rights.

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

New Glory International (“New Glory,” “NGI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of the people who visit our websites, purchase our products, support our ministry, make donations, participate in our programs, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us.

New Glory International is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, protect, and retain personal information through terrymacalmon.com, newglory.org, and related websites, online stores, forms, donation systems, communications, and services operated by or on behalf of New Glory International (collectively, the “Services”).

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify and other service providers may process personal information in connection with the Services as described in this Policy and in their own applicable privacy notices.

New Glory is based in the United States. Because our ministry and online Services may be accessed internationally, this Policy also addresses rights and requirements that may apply under laws including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the United Kingdom GDPR (“UK GDPR”), applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and other applicable data-protection legislation.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit a privacy right that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

3. Sensitive and Special Category Personal Information

Because New Glory is a Christian ministry, certain interactions with us may reveal or suggest information concerning religious or philosophical beliefs.

In addition, people may voluntarily provide sensitive information through prayer requests, testimonies, correspondence, or other ministry communications. Such information could include health information or other sensitive personal information.

For individuals protected by the GDPR or UK GDPR, information revealing religious or philosophical beliefs and certain health information may constitute “special categories” of personal data.

Where such laws apply, New Glory will process special-category personal data only when an appropriate legal condition exists.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • your explicit consent;
  • processing carried out as part of the legitimate activities of a nonprofit body with a religious purpose and with appropriate safeguards, where the requirements of applicable law are satisfied;
  • establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • protection of vital interests where legally permitted; or
  • another lawful condition permitted by applicable law.

New Glory does not use prayer requests, pastoral information, health information, or similar sensitive ministry communications for targeted advertising.

We do not sell such sensitive information.

Where a testimony, personal story, prayer answer, photograph, video, or similar submission is intended for public publication, we may obtain additional permission or consent where appropriate.

  • other New Glory communications.

Where applicable law requires prior consent, we will seek the required consent.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication.

Unsubscribing from promotional communications does not prevent us from sending transactional or administrative communications that are necessary in connection with an order, donation, account, legal obligation, or request you made.

  • protect accounts;
  • investigate suspicious activity;
  • prevent unauthorized transactions;

6. Legal Bases for Processing – EEA and UK

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, New Glory processes personal data only when a recognized legal basis exists.

Depending on the activity, our legal bases may include:

Performance of a Contract or Steps Requested by You

For example, processing information necessary to:

  • complete a purchase;
  • provide digital content;
  • ship an order;
  • manage a customer account; or
  • handle a return.

Consent

We may rely on consent for activities including:

  • certain marketing communications;
  • non-essential cookies and tracking technologies;
  • certain sensitive or special-category information; or
  • publication or use of particular personal submissions.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

Legitimate Interests

We may rely on legitimate interests where permitted, including interests in:

  • operating and protecting our ministry and Websites;
  • preventing fraud;
  • responding to correspondence;
  • maintaining customer and supporter relationships;
  • administering charitable activities;
  • improving our Services;
  • maintaining appropriate business records; and
  • communicating with people who reasonably expect to hear from New Glory.

When relying on legitimate interests, we consider whether our interests are overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individual.

Legal Obligations

We may process information when necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or other obligations applicable to New Glory.

Special Category Data

Where Article 9 of the GDPR or equivalent UK provisions apply, New Glory will also ensure that an appropriate additional condition exists for processing special-category personal data.

7. Donations and Donor Privacy

New Glory treats donor information with particular care.

New Glory does not sell or rent donor lists or donor contact information to unrelated organizations for their own fundraising or marketing purposes.

We may disclose information to service providers where reasonably necessary to process or administer a contribution, maintain accounting records, provide requested services, prevent fraud, or comply with law.

Information about a donor may also be disclosed when:

  • the donor requests or authorizes the disclosure;
  • disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or tax requirements;
  • it is necessary to investigate fraud or unlawful activity; or
  • another lawful basis exists.

Donor information will not be publicly disclosed merely because an individual makes a contribution, except where the donor authorizes publication or disclosure is legally required.

8. How We Disclose Personal Information

New Glory does not disclose personal information indiscriminately.

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients where reasonably necessary.

Shopify

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Shopify processes personal information to provide ecommerce, hosting, security, checkout, account, personalization, and other services.

Shopify may also process information in connection with certain enhanced services as described in Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy.

Payment Providers

Payment information may be shared with banks, payment processors, card networks, PayPal, Shopify payment services, and other financial service providers as necessary to authorize and process transactions.

Fulfillment and Shipping Providers

Information such as your name, address, email, telephone number, and order information may be provided to shipping carriers and fulfillment providers as reasonably necessary to deliver an order.

Technology and Professional Service Providers

We may use providers offering services including:

  • website hosting;
  • cloud infrastructure;
  • cybersecurity;
  • email delivery;
  • database management;
  • accounting;
  • analytics;
  • customer support;
  • fraud prevention; and
  • professional legal, accounting, and auditing services.

These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for the relevant service and subject to applicable contractual or legal safeguards.

Government and Legal Recipients

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with:

  • law;
  • court orders;
  • subpoenas;
  • warrants;
  • governmental requests;
  • tax requirements;
  • law-enforcement requests; or
  • other valid legal process.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect our rights or the rights, safety, and security of others.

9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

New Glory does not sell personal information for monetary payment.

However, certain privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than an ordinary sale for money.

Our Websites may use Shopify services or other advertising, analytics, or personalization technologies that involve disclosure or use of online identifiers and Website activity. Depending on the jurisdiction, some of these activities may legally qualify as “sharing,” “sale,” or processing for targeted advertising.

Where applicable, visitors may use the Your Privacy Choices functionality available through our Website to opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Where legally required, we also recognize qualifying browser-based universal opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).

We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising personal information of individuals under 16 where prohibited by applicable law.

We do not use sensitive ministry correspondence, prayer requests, health information, or similar special-category information for targeted advertising.

10. Shopify and Shopify Enhanced Services

The Services are hosted in substantial part through Shopify.

Information submitted through our store may be transmitted to Shopify and processed through Shopify infrastructure.

Certain Shopify features may combine information concerning your interaction with our store with information concerning interactions with Shopify or other merchants in order to provide functions such as personalization, measurement, security, analytics, or advertising.

For certain processing, Shopify may act independently as a controller of personal information.

Individuals may review Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and, where applicable, exercise rights directly through Shopify's privacy portal.

New Glory remains responsible for its own processing activities and for configuring its Services in accordance with applicable privacy law.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Websites use cookies and similar technologies for purposes that may include:

  • operating the Website;
  • maintaining sessions;
  • securing checkout;
  • remembering preferences;
  • maintaining shopping carts;
  • measuring Website performance;
  • analyzing usage;
  • preventing fraud;
  • personalization; and
  • advertising or marketing.

Essential Technologies

Some cookies or similar technologies are necessary for Website operation, security, checkout, shopping-cart functionality, authentication, fraud prevention, or other services specifically requested by the visitor.

Where permitted by law, these technologies may operate without consent.

Analytics, Personalization, and Advertising Technologies

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential technologies may be used, we request that consent through our cookie or privacy-preference tools.

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions requiring prior consent, non-essential advertising, tracking, or similar technologies should be activated only in accordance with the user's applicable consent choices.

Users may change available privacy or cookie preferences through the Website's privacy controls.

Rejecting non-essential cookies should not prevent the basic operation of the Website, although some optional functionality or personalization may be affected.

12. Marketing Communications

New Glory may communicate with customers, donors, supporters, and people who have requested information from us.

Marketing communications are sent only where permitted by applicable law.

Where consent is required, New Glory will seek an affirmative indication of consent.

We will not treat acceptance of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, by itself, as consent to receive marketing where separate consent is required.

Every promotional email sent through our standard marketing systems should provide an appropriate means to unsubscribe.

We maintain suppression information where reasonably necessary to ensure that a person who has unsubscribed is not unintentionally re-added to marketing communications.

For individuals in jurisdictions with specific electronic-marketing requirements, including the EEA and UK, additional requirements may apply.

13. Third-Party Websites, Social Media, and Embedded Content

Our Websites may contain links to or embedded services from third parties, such as:

  • YouTube;
  • social-media platforms;
  • music platforms;
  • PayPal;
  • event services; or
  • other third-party websites.

When you interact directly with a third-party service, that provider may independently collect information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

New Glory does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or platforms.

Where European or UK law requires consent before third-party embedded content or tracking is activated, we will use reasonable mechanisms designed to obtain the applicable consent before non-essential tracking occurs.

14. International Processing

New Glory International is located in the United States.

Accordingly, personal information provided to New Glory may be processed in the United States and may also be processed in other countries where our service providers operate.

The privacy laws of those countries may differ from those of your home jurisdiction.

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or another law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal data, we use or require an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where applicable.

Depending on the circumstances, these mechanisms may include:

  • a European Commission adequacy decision;
  • European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • the UK International Data Transfer Agreement;
  • the UK Addendum to European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • transfer to a recipient lawfully participating in an applicable approved data-transfer framework; or
  • another transfer mechanism legally permitted under applicable law.

We do not represent that New Glory International itself participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, UK Extension, or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework unless New Glory is actively listed as a participating organization in the official U.S. Department of Commerce Data Privacy Framework List.

Individual service providers used by New Glory may independently participate in such frameworks.

15. Data Security

New Glory takes the security of personal information seriously.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, contractual, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks associated with its processing.

These safeguards are designed to protect personal information against:

  • unauthorized access;
  • unauthorized disclosure;
  • misuse;
  • alteration;
  • accidental loss;
  • destruction; and
  • other unlawful processing.

Our Services use reputable hosted infrastructure and payment-service providers, and access to personal information is restricted to persons and providers who reasonably require access for authorized purposes.

Payment credentials are handled through specialized payment systems rather than being intentionally collected through ordinary email communications.

No internet-connected system can provide an absolute guarantee against every possible security incident. Accordingly, although we maintain appropriate safeguards, we cannot truthfully guarantee that any electronic system is completely immune from unauthorized access.

16. Security Incidents and Data Breaches

If New Glory becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable law.

Where notification to affected individuals, governmental authorities, data-protection authorities, payment providers, or other parties is legally required, New Glory will provide such notification within the applicable legal time periods.

We maintain or use procedures intended to support detection, investigation, containment, remediation, and legally required notification of qualifying personal-data breaches.

17. Data Retention

New Glory does not intend to retain personal information indefinitely without a legitimate purpose.

Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Order, Payment, Donation, and Financial Records

We retain records for periods reasonably necessary to:

  • administer transactions;
  • satisfy accounting and tax requirements;
  • respond to audits;
  • resolve disputes;
  • prevent fraud; and
  • comply with applicable law.

Certain financial, tax, and charitable-contribution records may therefore be retained for several years after a transaction.

Customer Accounts

Account information may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward where necessary for security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

Marketing Information

Marketing contact information may be retained while you remain subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression information, such as your email address and opt-out status, to ensure that your preference continues to be honored.

Communications

Customer-service and ordinary correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period based on the nature of the communication and whether it relates to an order, donation, dispute, legal matter, ministry relationship, or other continuing purpose.

Sensitive Ministry Information

Sensitive personal information voluntarily shared for ministry purposes will not knowingly be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, subject to applicable legal obligations and legitimate ministry requirements.

Technical Information

Server logs, security information, analytics data, and cookie-derived information are retained according to operational needs, security requirements, consent settings, and the retention schedules of applicable service providers.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, destroy, anonymize, or de-identify it, subject to applicable law.

18. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside and which privacy law applies, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

  • request access to personal information about you;
  • obtain information concerning how your data is processed;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion or erasure;
  • request restriction of certain processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • obtain certain data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of certain targeted advertising;
  • opt out of legally defined sale or sharing;
  • appeal certain decisions concerning privacy requests where applicable; and
  • lodge a complaint with an applicable regulatory authority.

These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions established by applicable law.

For example, we may be required or permitted to retain information needed to satisfy legal obligations, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, establish legal claims, or honor previous opt-out requests.

19. Rights of Individuals in the EEA

Where the GDPR applies to our processing, individuals may have rights under Articles 15 through 22 of the GDPR, including rights to:

  • access;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction;
  • data portability;
  • objection; and
  • certain protections regarding automated decision-making.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object based on your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent European data-protection supervisory authority.

New Glory encourages individuals to contact us first so that we have an opportunity to address a privacy concern directly, but contacting New Glory does not eliminate your right to approach a supervisory authority.

20. Rights of Individuals in the United Kingdom

Where the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, as amended, apply to our processing, individuals in the United Kingdom may have corresponding rights to:

  • access;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction;
  • objection;
  • portability;
  • withdrawal of consent; and
  • protection in relation to certain automated decision-making.

Individuals may also have the right to complain to the United Kingdom Information Commissioner's Office (“ICO”).

21. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Privacy rights differ among U.S. states.

New Glory International's status as a nonprofit organization means that some state comprehensive privacy laws may exempt some or all of our activities, while other state laws expressly apply to qualifying nonprofits.

Where a comprehensive state privacy law applies to New Glory, eligible residents may exercise the rights provided by that law.

Depending on the applicable state, these may include:

  • access;
  • correction;
  • deletion;
  • portability;
  • opt-out of targeted advertising;
  • opt-out of legally defined sale;
  • opt-out of certain profiling;
  • withdrawal of consent for sensitive data; and
  • an appeal process if a privacy request is denied.

New Glory will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising a privacy right.

22. Global Privacy Control and Privacy Choices

Where required by applicable law and technically supported, we recognize Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized universal opt-out mechanism as a request to opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.

You may also use the Your Privacy Choices functionality available on our Website.

Traditional “Do Not Track” browser signals that are not legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms may not be interpreted consistently across the internet and may not be acted upon unless required by law.

23. How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a privacy request, contact:

Email: info@terrymacalmon.com

Phone: 214-494-2265

Please clearly identify that your communication concerns a privacy request.

We may request information reasonably necessary to:

  • verify your identity;
  • locate the relevant records;
  • prevent fraudulent requests; and
  • determine the jurisdiction or law applicable to your request.

We will not request more verification information than is reasonably necessary.

Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit certain privacy requests on your behalf. We may require appropriate evidence that the agent is authorized to act for you.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

24. Appeals

Where applicable U.S. state privacy law provides a right to appeal our decision concerning a privacy request, you may submit an appeal by contacting info@terrymacalmon.com and identifying the request as a Privacy Appeal.

We will review the appeal and respond within the period required by applicable law.

25. Children

Our Websites and Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed primarily to children under 13.

New Glory does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through the ordinary operation of its online store.

If we learn that personal information of a child has been collected in circumstances where parental authorization or another legal basis is required and was not obtained, we will take appropriate action.

Parents or legal guardians who believe a child has provided personal information to New Glory may contact us at info@terrymacalmon.com.

Where applicable law provides additional protections for children or teenagers, including restrictions relating to targeted advertising or sale of personal information, New Glory will apply those protections where required.

26. Automated Processing

Our technology providers may use automated systems for functions such as:

  • fraud detection;
  • security;
  • personalization;
  • product recommendations; and
  • analytics.

New Glory does not ordinarily use solely automated decision-making to make decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

If we introduce processing that is subject to specific legal requirements concerning automated decision-making or profiling, we will provide any additional information and rights required by applicable law.

27. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

We may create or receive information that has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.

Where information has been properly de-identified, we may use it for legitimate purposes including:

  • analytics;
  • ministry planning;
  • Website improvement;
  • security;
  • statistical reporting; and
  • understanding general patterns of usage.

Where required by applicable law, we will take reasonable measures not to attempt to re-identify properly de-identified information.

28. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy when our practices, technologies, Services, vendors, or legal obligations change.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy.

If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.

A revised Privacy Policy does not retroactively create consent for processing that legally required consent when the information was originally collected.

29. EEA and UK Representatives

New Glory International is established in the United States and does not, solely by virtue of this Privacy Policy, claim to maintain an establishment in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom.

Where Article 27 of the GDPR or the equivalent requirements of UK data-protection law require New Glory to appoint a representative in the EEA or United Kingdom, New Glory will designate the appropriate representative and make the representative's contact information available as required by law.

Individuals may in all cases contact New Glory directly using the contact information below.
